Summary
I am the president of Usable Webs. Prior to this I spent ten years in
management positions in three consulting firms. Before that I had my own technical communications
consulting firm for three years. In all these positions I created
documentation, training materials, and Web design standards and
methodologies and managed projects.
During all of these years I also produced a wide variety of
documentation and web sites. I have over six years' experience in each of
the following areas:

Technical writing. Always an evangelist for
user needs. Includes paper and online deliverables, ranging from user
manuals to technical materials to online help to white papers. Work
involved information design, project planning, documentation plans,
estimating and editing of others work. Created standards and guidelines.

These assignments were scattered among other contract jobs over this
period of time.

involving concurrent multiple projects, people, and skills. Performed
sales support and marketing activities. Created and managed to budgets.
