Anacortes Activities

Parks in Anacortes

Anacortes has many parks within the city boundaries, and there are others on Fidalgo Island and on the mainland nearby. I have only listed four of the main parks.

Washington Park

Washington Park is a beautiful wooded park on the northwest edge of Fidalgo Island. You can drive or walk to numerous spots where you can sit and watch the sun set over the islands to the west.

Deception Pass State ParkDeception Pass

Deception Pass is the narrow body of water separating Fidalgo Island from Whidbey Island. It is crossed by a bridge. The currents here are fierce and the water is often dangerous. The park contains many hiking trails, mostly level.
